Based on a simple technology, TEMPO provides accurate results and requires very short preparation time. It demonstrates high flexibility in terms of throughput and can suit every lab’s needs.

It requires 2 ergonomic stations to perform the enumeration :

Preparation station to inoculate TEMPO cards with your food samples andculture media

  • TEMPO culture media allow rapid bacterial growth and contain afluorescent indicator
  • The TEMPO  card is a miniaturization of the Most Probable Number method that comprises 16*3 tubes in a single consumable
  • Reading station to evaluate the number of CFU/g in the initial product
  • Based on the number and size of the positive wells (fluorescent or non-fluorescent), the TEMPO instrument uses statistical methods to calculate the number of microorganisms present in the initial sample
